My 2000 Ford Lightning V8 5.4L won't shift out of park?
With the truck on and running and the brake fully applied the truck won't shift to any other gear. Shift stick stuck in Park!!! brake lights still work and the brake switch up on the brake pedal is connected... I was also told the 'Neutral Safety Switch' maybe the problem but im not sure about this heres the link...

Do inline 6 cylinders waste as much gas as a v-8?
i have a bmw 323i from the year 2000, and it seems to use up all the gas at the same rate our 2000 Ford F-150. Do they really waste the same amount of gas by being "inline" or is this just a myth?

Being inline has nothing to do with how much gas it uses. The design has much to do with it. But if your car is out of tune that will cause your car to burn more gas. Especially if your car does NOT warm up (or the ECU thinks it never warmed up), then it will run rich and use more gas. Good Luck...
