Need to replace starter on 2001 Ford Explorer / Eddie Bauer / 5.0 L V-8?
Would like to know the location of the part on the engine. I don't think I'm skilled enough to replace it myself and if I were, I don't have the tools. I'm told I can possibly tap it with a hammer and possibly get a start... at least save the towing charge to the shop. I know what the starter looks like, just need to know how to get to it. Thanks.
