not really other than to dig them out, or pull the moulding and the switch assy.. to find out what's wrong (not recommended for the DIYer unless you want to risk scratching paint)

There are multiple fuses for the trailer which are located in the central junction box under dash on righthand side of vehicle. The 1 i think you are looking for is F1.10... others to check are F1.13 F1.106 F1.42 F1.36. All fuses are labeled on the cover. Also double check the owners manual...
