You are still not reading a speed from that sensor, when the ring cracked it may have damaged the sensor as well, test the sensor itself and check for wiring breaks or corrosion on that connector.

I have looked at the aftermarket hitches and while they seem pretty straight forward,they dont say any other modifications are necessary such as spare tire relocation or exhaust modification.Anyone have any experience installing them?
