Problem with my 2001 ford escape?
My car wont idle at certain times of the day. around one in the afternoon when it has warmed up outside i start it and it dies. It does not do this all the time but mostly in the afternoons. i changed the air and fuel filter and cleaned throttle body. any suggestions before i take to shop?

Sounds like the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) is bad, this is a common problem with some Fords. Try giving it some fuel when it acts up to see if it keeps running, if so then it is bad Reference:Ford Tech 17 yrs ASE Master Tech

I have a 2001 ford escape it has 100 miles?
when im driving and the car starts to get warm it will knock out of gear (its still says that its drive but its not) if i pull over and wait for it to cool off it will drive again. but not far at all, it will keep doing that over and over. also now its started to idelling high the rpm stay at 2 or 3 after the car has been on for a min. so does...
