Help! A friend of mine just called - He has a dead battery in his Benz and cannot figure out how to manually open his trunk. Is there an emergency trunk release somewhere or another manual method to get his trunk open without battery power?

Just to build on the previous answer, the blade key is integrated into the key fob - its the metal piece the key ring attaches to. Just push the slide lock and it should come out of the fob.
