i already changed the belt, and checked for possible exhaust leaks. the dealer says it is a normal characteristic but i don`t believe it. it drives me crazy

Can the plastic on the trailer mirrors for my 2009 Ram 2500 be painted to match my truck?
I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 without trailer mirrors on it. I am going to order a replacement set of mirrors from Summit (unless anyone has any suggestions elsewhere that are cheaper). I want them to be the power and heated kind. Anyways, my question is; Can the plastic on these mirrors be painted to match the color of my truck? On the Summit...

On my 05 Dodge 3500 I purchased a set of power mirrors that were electric but not heated from Camping World..had them painted and they looked great. Shop around and for the record any plastic mirror can be painted. Reference:Old Mopar Mechanic and Rv'er
