Did you press and hold the brake pedal before shifting? If it's a floor shift there is no cable. There's no cable if it's a column shift either.

Yeah, you'll need to see the dealer. The electronic throttle has issue. There is not throttle cable anymore, its actuated by a pair of sensors on the pedal assembly, and basically controls an electric motor on the throttle body of the engine. The system has a double redundancy built in(two sensors)...
