2001 Intrepid transmission problem?
I was wondering if someone could help/advise me...I'm having problem with transmission in my 2001 Chrysler Intrepid (188K). When I start it, the transmission does not shift into reverse or drive...the actual stick is shifting but on the dashboard its not..and when I shift it into drive, there is a big jerk and the whole car shakes...I turn the car...

take the belts off it ,unbolt it and remove it,that's about all there is too it,its not complicated to do,good luck. Reference:been a certified mechanic for 38 yrs now.
