that may be the alternator causing that too happen when you first start them or give them gas if the alternator isn't charging right it will cause the belt to tighten up because the alternator is kicking in and trying to put back the charge it took from it to start it,id have the alternator...

I believe it's 5w-30, but I've also heard 10w-30? I live in a temperate climate without extreme hot or cold temps. THANKS.
