What people are asking about this car
2008 Chrysler Sebring with 140,000 miles?
I'm looking into buying this vehicle but don't really know anything about cars. A friend said the vehicle sounds good and runs good but is nervous about the mileage. I plan on putting a lot of miles on it myself and will not be able to afford any expensive repairs. The price is about 10,000. How long do these cars last and would it be reliable for...

140,000 miles on a 4 year old car is a lot of miles. The 2008 Sebring Sedans and convertibles were not the most popular cars. The engines and transmissions are more reliable than the cars they replaced, however they still lagged behind Ford, Honda, and Toyota in quietness, smoothness, and power...

An air conditioner filter for a 2008 Chrysler sebring ?
It is available as an option and I have found where it is located behind the glove box. The parts people at chrysler cannot seem to find a filter to fit the compartment. Does anyone know what filter would fit for this vehicle? I was thinking a filter for the 300 or crossfire.

The cabin filter isn't listed in the parts department's catalog, it got left out for whatever reason. If the parts guy had taken just a few minutes to call their parts help hotline, they would have gotten the correct filter part number to use (it is about $20.00, if I remember correctly)...

Why should I also consider these? X

The mid-size 2008 Chrysler Sebring is an interesting choice for shoppers who like its creased and decorated body, but for TheCarConnection.com's editors, the unorthodox styling, the mediocre engine performance on mainstream editions, and the quality of its interior materials put it below the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla, and other larger sedans like the Ford Fusion.
