I have a 2004 crysler pacifica.i put a new radio now no sound!!!!!?
i just got this radio and i put a herness on it too. i also tested the radio and theres music flowing through the radio.but the car is not flowing no sound.so icannot hear nothing. please if anyone had this problem let me know something thanks i also put my factory radio back in the car and everything works just fine any boady please

Your Pacifica probably has a built-in separate amplifier. It receivers power from the radio to turn on. Because the amp does not turn on, you get no sound. You will need to get a wiring diagram (try Crutchfield.com or the manufacturer of the radio you bought) to find the 12v connection. Good luck...

Had the same problem on another vehicle. Be sure the vehicle is properly secured (using blocks or stops) & will not roll before you do this, but try releasing the parking brake. I don't have much experience working with cars so I had to learn that one by experience.
