Ok, I have a 2001 chrysler 300M and it died out on me just as I was accelerating from a stop sign. I suspected that it was the timing belt as my previous car (98 intrepid es) had the same issue. Save money and do this. Get in the car Close the door. leave unlocked turn on ignition press and hold the lock function... It may take 5 minutes but I have done this and the car will accept the code..... SOmetimes..
