I have a 2002 chevy s10 zr2 4x4 why wont the 4x4 work?
i have a 2002 chevy s10 zr2 4x4. i have a lil mechanic exp. but why wont my front wheels pull or spin in 4 lo or 4 hi the front drive shaft spins while in 4x4 so i know the transfer case is fine and that its in the problem is in the front diff but what? any one know

The vehicle has a Vacuum Actuator which engages the front wheels. You could have a broken vacuum line or a bad actuator. When you lift the hood, the Actuator should be on the drivers side and you'll see a cable going down to the front differential. The actuator will also have a plug and vacuum...
