1997 Monte Carlo having problems?
My car decided not to start this morning. I couldn't get it to turn over.... when i did it decided to act funny. The car won't idle. You have to keep your foot on the gas. But... it also won't go past 4000 RV I don't have alot of details... but any help on when could be wrong would help Thanks!

Is your check engine light on? You might want to have the catalytic converter checked, and the reason the car won't go over 4000 rpms is because it probably has a rev limiter. If your check engine light is on you can always take it to Auto zone and they will put it on a scanner for free. Good luck!!

Its nothing special first of all. All an aftermarket intake is a (heat ressistant) plastic enclosure that runs to your manifold but has a filter in the front..... Now im not a genius but i know that soooo many people go out and buy k&n and flow master etc junk thinking that theyll gain major...
