What people are asking about this car
Does anyone have problems(if you own one) with their 2008 Chevy Aveo's cruise control?
here's the deal...I own a 2008 Chevy Aveo. The cruise control does not work and it won't even turn on. It only has 25,000 miles and had worked before. Took it in to the dealer to get it looked at and they said that it came on and there was no problem. It worked fine for about one year and then all of a sudden it stopped completely. It doesn't seem...

Hi Melinda, I'm very sorry to hear you've been experiencing cruise control issues! Have you been able to go back to the dealership after the problem resurfaced? Since you stated that this feature stopped completely, I would suggest you go back to your Chevrolet dealership for a full...

Parts alone should run right around $100. I looked it up on autozone.com and the rotors were about $36 each (x2) and the pads were $21 for the front set. The labor should be around an hour for each side. It's really not a big deal and anyone with fair mechanical skills can swap those out. If...

Why should I also consider these? X

Priced at less than $11,000, including destination, for the SVM hatchback model, the Aveo5 is one of the cheapest vehicles available in the U.S., although base models of the Rio, Accent, and Yaris are in the same price range.

The Rio and Accent, which are mechanically related to each other don't feel quite as roomy, are much more fun to drive than the Aveo, although they have a bit more engine noise from inside the cabin.

The Fit and Yaris feel peppy, light, and nimble on the road, though both can also be noisy inside.

The Yaris hatchback is quite tight on passenger space, while the Fit is cavernous and has an innovative Magic Seat arrangement, along with best-in-class safety.

Of them all, the Versa drives most like a larger vehicle, in a positive sense, with a smooth, settled ride on the highway, as well as a roomy interior.

Nearly all of these vehicles get better fuel economy than the 2008 Chevrolet Aveo.
