How do I remove steering wheel for a 2008 chevy avalanche?
I need to remove the steering wheel for my 2008 chevy avalanche, if anyone has removed one could you please give me detailed instructions on how to remove it

I wouldn't do that unless you've done it before. The airbags are really expensive to replace and one wrong move and... BOOM!!! Good luck.

Are the 2007/2008 Z71 Avalanche's good off road?
I know it's not meant for off road use but either is my z71 Suburban. My Burban is better in sand and mud than my 2006 Duramax.... Sad but true.. Anyways, I drive in the sand often and I'm wondering if the weight distribution is good enough that I'll get traction in the rear end. Thanks!

The new body style Avalanches with the Z71 package are pretty capiable offroaders. Stiffer shocks, offroad tires, skidplates, and a auto locking rear diff really help. If you want to learn more about anything Fullsize Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, or Hummer visit www.fullsizechevy.com...

Why should I also consider these? X

When you look at this list of competitors, they are the usual suspects one would find when comparing only pickups.

The 2008 Chevy Avalanche functions well as a pickup, and offers towing capabilities that are more than competitive with any of these rivals.

What the Avalanche offers over these challengers is that rare combination of five-passenger comfort with an eight-foot bed, something that you won't find in most pickups--at least, not at the same time.

All the others are similar full-size trucks with no midgate, but a choice of engines, transmissions, box lengths, and drivetrains.
