How do I get my Remote Start to work on my 2005 cadillac STS?
I know you can start a 2005+ cadillac sts with your remote (remote Start). I have read the manual & it tells you how to do it but it wont work. Do I have to get the remote programed for that feature? if so do i have to take it to a dealer or can i do it my self?

press the door lock button on the remote, the doors have to be locked for the remote start to work, when you push the remote start button make sure you push it and hold it until the engine starts Reference:worked at a cadillac dealership as a technician
