How can i tell if my 2004 buick rainier is an AWD model?
i just purchased a pre-owned 2004 buick rainier. unlike my previous vehicle, which had buttons to push to switch from 2wd to 4 hi and 4 low for bad weather. when i expressed satisfaction that my new auto would have to have 4wd at the dealership, i'm not sure that this model is for sure AWD. i just found out that the 2004 buick rainier has a 4x2...

Look under the front end of the vehicle and check whether or not there are any drive shafts running to the front wheels. If there aren't any, you have a 2WD model.
