What people are asking about this car
I bought a 2005 buick lesabre w/80k miles and the owners manual has no info on the shocks or struts?
other than to say check for loose, worn or broken parts or seals. Shoudn't the shocks at least be changed at 50k and what about the struts?

Your car doesn't have shocks. I don't think any automaker uses then any more. Struts serve the same purpose. Do the test. On each corner of the car, put both your hands on the body above the wheel. Jump into the air and with all your might, push down, then let go. If the car bounces once...
