I have a 2008 audi s4 (b7) andbought a new performance air-filter to replace the OEM filter.?
I have inspected the engine compartment and cannot locate the filter box, can anyone offer any assistence or help?

The large tunnel shaped plastic on the left hand side of the compartment is the air supply. It will come apart without any tools. It just pops together. If you disassemble it you will locate the filter box below it. It screws together and should take you a total of about a half hour. Watch out...

The 2008 Audi S4 range used to be the only compact luxury vehicle with an optional V-8.
