What people are asking about this car
A 2007 Chevy van with a 6 cylinder is showing the same MPG as an 8 cylinder. Why is that? Is it actually true?
I thought a 6 would get better mileage than an 8. Will an 8 be a better option than a 6? Could an 8 possibly be more durable and last longer without being more of a gas hog than a 6?

V8's generally burn more fuel per firing cycle due to the extra 2 cylinders. When engines start working hard they use more fuel, that being said a V6 has to work harder than a V8 to move a fullsize van. The fact the V6 is working that much harder nullifies ANY fuel savings you'd get with...
