There's a metal ring/loop underneath the rear of my Audi A4 2007, It's between the exhaust pipes, what is it?
does it have a name, or any function? my thought is that it could be used for towing something lightweight, or possibly used as a hook for tying down the trunk for large objects. IDK, any input would be helpful

It's a tie down loop for when the vehicle is towed on a flatbed. It's not designed for pulling anything, just securing the vehicle. Yes, you can use it as an anchor point for a bungee cord to keep the trunk lid down.

I am thinking about purchasing a 2007 Audi A4 Cabrio Convertible. What is your opinion of the car?

very nice get the V6 for reliability and reduced maintenance needs the turbos are nice but you have added maintenance needs for the turbo and it will need more frequent oil changes etc. I don't know if the newer 2.0 turbo has the sludge issues that the old 1.8 had but i would go V6 anyway.
