How to turn on crusie control on 2002 Audi A4?

The cruise control stalk is at the lower left side of the steering wheel. To turn it on, you simply press the button on the end of the stalk. Then for resume/accelerate push up, for coast/set push down. Any questions, let me know. Reference:I own a 2004 S4. I am an Audi Technician

Why ESP light on 2002 Audi A4?
My Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) light came on and will not turn off with the recommended procedure to turn it off. The car has also started to jerk when shifted to Drive, but at no other time....anyone have this problem before with their Audi? Should I keep driving it or get it in ASAP? (no dealer close to me--2 hours away)

You have a bad ABS module or a bad ABS sensor. Probably the latter. Get a sensor at http://www.highspeedautoparts.com and have it installed. But first have the braking system scanned for any codes. Good luck
