Good and Bad
I bought my 2007 Forenza with the Convenience Package as a left over in May of 2008. I do like the car. Runs good, handles well, GREAT on gas. Kind of sluggish if you have 4 adults in the car, but otherwise works for my commute.
The bad:
First, right after all of the promises from the dealer, they sold their chain and now I have to drive 143 miles round trip for my warranty work. This is not convenient for me at all and defeats the purpose of why I bought new. Make sure you check that out! Second, with only 6553 miles on it, the drivers side door handle just broke. Not sure if it was because of the cold weather or not, it just broke in half. Makes it hard to get out of the car and also, still, not convenient to get replaced!
Also, I do not care for the performance of the tires that came on the car and have heard that the rims have a tendency to bend, keep that in mind if you are in an area with lots of bad roads.
If I had it to do over again, I would have chosen a more established make of car so that I didn't have to go out of my way after spending over $15,000. For that kind of money you just shouldn't have to!
