High Quality
I have driven gas hog SUVs for a couple years and decided to go the opposite route and purchased a Jetta diesel. I was originally only considering the manual transmission until I drove the auto. What a versatle transmission. I love the "sport mode" and the manual mode. I am 6'3" and find the interior to be very roomy for the front seat passengers, much less for rear seat. The fit and finish is... |

Fine car with a few issues
"I bought my Jetta in September, 2005. First Volkswagen I ever owned. My old Prizm was wearing out and I wanted something similiarly sized that got great mileage. I bought the diesel model. When the climate control's not running, I can get 48 miles to the gallon. That's the best thing about the car. I bought the value package. I didn't need all those bells and whistles and they did jack up the... |

Safe
One of the safest side impact cars you can get. The TDI gets 40+ MPG so saves you a few bucks. The rear seats fold down to fit even more in that trunk of yours. Handling acceleration and braking is good... |

Puts FUN back into driving
I've had my Jetta for two weeks now. After extensive research it was either the Jetta or Honda Accord. The Jetta won out and I'm glad it did. This car is tight. Mine has no rattles or abnormal engine noises as another owner has mentioned. This car sticks to the road like none I personally have driven, except a Corvette. The black paint is 30% smoother than Honda's. Everything is in the proper... |

My Third Jetta in Twelve Years
So far my experience has been great. I have had no problems with the car as of yet. My wife kicked the exit light cover off but, I snapped it in place and where the dealer installed the lock box the rubber is turned inward form the holder. I will see how the dealer handles this on the first service. This is my third Jetta, the first one was a '97 GL with a 4cyl. 5- speed transmission, crank... |
