  • A lot better than past years!

I've had a 2002 Monte and after I had a lot of stuff go wrong with it, I looked into getting a new car. I narrowed my choices to 3 cars. Mustang, Monte and Charger. Mustang way too small... Read full review

  • Fuel Economy Disappointment

"Maybe I fell for the "Displacement on Demand" hype, or maybe I was just being optimistic. In either instance, I would become disappointed with the fuel economy. I am averaging 15.5 mpg on... Read full review

  • This Is My Baby And There Are Few Cars That I Would Take Over Her.

Got this Monte in August of '06 with 16/17k miles on it. Now sitting at about 48k miles. I've only put about $900 into her. Had exhaust work done in July of '07, installed two 12" Kenwoods... Read full review

  • Really Pushing The Limit

First, I owned 2 Tbirds and the "interior" guy should shut it. Its a lot more like the old Tbirds than most people would think, just front wheel drive. I have thrown this car around... Read full review

  • Monte

Since I've had my Monte I have been going on a lot of road trips and have put a lot of miles on it. I have driven it across various states, into Canada, through snowy mountain passes, and... Read full review

  1. Am I the only one?

By Chuck Taylor | Posted: 28/7/2008

Am I the only person here that thought this car could have been better. It looks like a Monte Carlo for sure but from the driver's seat I look around and see nothing but my old '88 Thunderbird. It drives just like my Trailblazer which isn't a good thing. If you're used to Chevrolet you won't be surprised or let down. If you've driven anything else you'll find yourself wanting just that. Anybody want to buy a slightly used 06 MC?

  2. Your out to lunch Chuck!

    By Dustin | Posted: 24/10/2008

Chuck, thats what happens when you buy an LS. YOu get what you pay for my friend. And my MC SS is stellar! Everyone that has been in it, or drives it says it's great. A luxury car that can lay some rubber at 30 km/h? Give your head a shake chuck. The Monte Carlo SS is a hell of a car.
