April 3, 2011Question:
How do I remove teh middle bench seat from a Ford freestar 2006 mini van ?

Answered By Justin Cupler, Contributing Writer:
1) Disconnect the lap/shoulder safety belts, by inserting a key into the buckle-release slot and pushing upward to remove the mini-buckle from the seat. Clip the safety belt out of the way, using that small, plastic clip on the belt that seemingly has no use (this is why it's there).
2) Pull the horizontal handle on the side of the second row seat to lower the seat-back cushion (just as you would to access the third row seats).
3) From behind the second row seat pull the release handles located on each side of the seat (near the floor), releasing the rear floor latches.
4) Pull the seat up into a vertical position by the release handles. Pull the seat rearward until the front hooks have come out of the floor tubs. Remove the seat.
