Q--I am aware of strong gasoline fumes when exiting my ’96 BMW 740 after driving it for short distances. It isn’t always obvious. Having looked for leaks on the pavement and having looked under the car, there are no telltale signs of any kind. I am wondering if I should be concerned?
A--Hell yes! Gasoline is very volatile and small leaks may vaporize long before dripping to the ground. I hope you don’t smoke.
