Other Choices:

The Journey has many competitors in the crossover segment, including the substantially heavier Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Chevrolet Equinox. TheCarConnection.com’s favorite vehicles in the class include the new Honda CR-V, which got a controversial new look in its recent restyling; the Toyota RAV4, which now offers a third-row rear seat; and the Saturn Vue, a far more handsome vehicle than it used to be, and one coming in a hybrid version this fall. Subaru’s Forester is also a worth a look, particularly in its base trim.

i have an 09 journey R/T with the chrome appearance package, leather interior and sunroof. as a mom of 3 kids in carseats, i love this vehicle! it has tons of storage room, it is powerful, and it has next to NO road noise!! the only downside is that we have not been getting the mileage that it said on the sticker...but thats not a big deal. highly recommend this vehicle!

  4. Good

    By Doug | Posted: 30/11/2008

Just bought a 2009. So far I don't understand the negative points of this vehicle. Not eye-catching? My black one looks very sharp. Of course I could have bought an Element...but I would be out of my element. The dash on mine looks great and is very functional. Nothing square on mine. Interior is nice too...oh I just remembered it's not a Mercedes!!!! Honestly, this car is extremely quiet. The ride w/19 inch wheels is very smooth too. Yep, the 3rd row seat is small, but it's NOT a minivan. Anyhow, the price seemed reasonable too.
