New this year, the Kia Soul has won raves for its angular but smart styling, a high level of standard equipment, and a spacious interior, though it's hardly the quickest box on the block. The Nissan Versa feels bigger than the Scion xD, with poise and a ride that's notably better, but from behind the wheel, it's just not that sporty to drive.
