Other Choices

Why should I also consider these? X

The BMW Group, it can be argued, includes two of the 1-Series' main rivals.

The BMW 3-Series is a little more mature and spacious inside, and its interior now feels a generation ahead in design.

For those looking for driving fun in a compact package, the MINI Cooper S is still a great choice, and it costs much less.

The Ford Mustang coupe and convertible are rivals worth considering, though it's admittedly less refined and sophisticated in feel.

A more realistic competitor is the V-6-powered Infiniti G37 Coupe, although the G37 is not offered as a convertible.
