Expert Quotes:

Porsche could have pushed the aesthetic boundaries further but overall the designers did their job, keeping the 911 looking fresh yet classic.
Kelley Blue Book

Fortunately, everything in the test car that could be covered in beautifully tailored and stitched brown leather is covered just that way.
Inside Line

It sounds even better, it rides even better, it feels even better, it's even more comfortable, better equipped, and it's far better looking.
Automobile Magazine

This is the Porsche 911, an iconic sports car with a shape that is as recognizable today as when the model was first introduced in 1963.

The car appears longer and lower but, most would agree, still clearly a 911.
Motor Trend

Though it shares the general theme and proportion of the 911s before it, the 2012 model, bearing chassis code 991 for insiders and aficionados, wears them in a much different manner. The nose is still low and sloped, the fenders still rise to package the wheels and headlights, and the fastback coupe profile still drops rapidly over the engine cover, but a wider front track, slightly longer wheelbase, and skilfully sculpted arches and curves offer a brand-new interpretation.

Inside, the 2012 Porsche 911 carries off an adaptation of the Panamera's cabin with equal if not greater skill; though the center console is perhaps a bit button-heavy, it's much sleeker and more intuitive than the Panamera's own, while the dash, steering wheel, and other details fit perfectly with the 911's sporting aptitude and daily-driver comfort.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
