Expert Quotes:

20/29 (G25); 19/27 (G25x); 17/25 (manual G37); 19/27 (auto G37); 18/25 (G37x)
U.S. EPA

With respect to fuel economy, the G25 and G37 are about par in their class of sport sedans. The new Infiniti G25 models, in exchange for a less power from its smaller-displacement V-6, gain a mile or two per gallon, at 19 or 20 in the city and 27 or 29 on the highway. And the seven-speed automatic gets good numbers; models with the manual gearbox are actually the least fuel-efficient, at 17/25.

Conclusion

With the addition of the 2011 Infiniti G25, the G Sedans are a slightly greener pick than before—but they're still not very fuel-efficient.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
