Expert Quotes:

Navigation is not available on the G25
Edmunds' Inside Line

a USB port for your iPod and a sunroof for an additional $1000.
Popular Mechanics

The G25 gets a low-resolution display that lacks contrast and clarity. Glare is also a major problem, and for some inexplicable reason, the navigation package that's optional on the G37 isn't offered.
Autoblog

No car really is simple nowadays, but G manages to avoid the type of needless complexity of BMW's iDrive and copy-cat multilayered control systems.

In addition to the three models of the G37—Journey, Sport, and G37x AWD—the new G25 is offered in Base, Journey, and G25x guises.

Going with the G25 doesn't give up much, other than 110 horsepower and a lot of torque. Base models, whether G25 or G37, get standard leather upholstery, power front seats, automatic climate control, a six-speaker audio system, and XM satellite radio.

The Journey model adds a Bluetooth hands-free interface, a rearview monitor, and heated seats and mirrors, plus dual-zone climate control. From the Journey, you can add any number of tech options, including Adaptive Front Lighting and the Intelligent Cruise Control with a Preview Braking safety feature.

An audiophile Infiniti Studio on Wheels system by Bose is optional, as is an optional next-generation hard-drive-based navigation system with higher-resolution screen, Zagat restaurant ratings and reviews, XM Weather and XM NavTraffic, and live rerouting. Also available is a new Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS), which purifies inside air and automatically shuts off outside air when exhaust fumes are detected.

Infiniti G37 Sedan Sport models are focused toward the most demanding enthusiast customers—and probably those who plan track time—so they include a Viscous Limited Slip Differential, in addition to a host of track-worthy upgrades like larger vented disc brakes, sport steering gear, W-rated performance tires, and more aggressively bolstered sport seats with active head restraints and thigh extensions.

Conclusion

The 2011 Infiniti G Sedans offer a good roster of performance equipment and convenience features.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
