Expert Quotes:

rough, teeth-jittering ride, though, got us wishing for a softer sprung suspension -- or at least some cushier rubber and squishier seats
Motor Trend

The seats were comfortable, and its cloth upholstery was unoffensive in its pattern and texture.
Cars.com

Seating is uncomfortable for long trips.
CNET

The seats materials are good and the seats themselves offer good support.
AutoWeek

Packaging is the priority in the 2011 Nissan Rogue; it has enough space to accommodate four adults, along with their luggage—plus it has a good ride and reasonably quiet interior.

While the ride is comfortable and there are no issues with headroom or legroom, the seats in particular feel thinly padded throughout and not necessarily up for long road trips. The backseat, which folds forward flat, can fit three adults across, but they'll have problems if they're broad-shouldered or large; the seatback adjusts for rake. The front passenger seat will also fold flat to fit especially long pieces of cargo.

Cargo space, even with the back seats up, is ample, and the cargo floor is quite low. Ride quality is good too, which will make most sensibly minded buyers happy, though some surfaces can bring out pitchiness and road noise.

Conclusion

The 2011 Nissan Rogue is spacious and well designed but not particularly refined or comfortable.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
