While the new 2011 Dodge Durango is by no means a green vehicle, it's one of the more fuel-efficient choices in this class in base V-6 doem. The combination yields EPA numbers of 16/23 mpg for rear-drive versions, and 16/22 mpg with all-wheel drive—pretty acceptable numbers for a vehicle of the Durango's size.

Opt into the HEMI-equipped Durango and fuel economy slides to 14/20 mpg (or 13/20 mpg with all-wheel drive), pushing this SUV toward the bottom of the fuel-economy scale, among all vehicles.

Conclusion

While the HS 250h might present fuel economy numbers that aren't impressive to the hard-core green shoppers, it's one of the greenest luxury picks on the market.
