Unfortunately for Audi-lovers the A3 TDI variant is now unavailable with Quattro all-wheel drive. The only model of A3 that can be ordered with four driven wheels is the DSG equipped 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline four cylinder. Come on Audi, everyone knows you sell diesel A3 models with Quattro in Europe so quit holding out on North America!
One option for those who want their Audi A3 TDI to really stand out from the pack is to order the optional Titanium Sport Package. Along with the navigation system and the panorama sunroof, it is one of the most highly recommendable options in the A3’s extensive catalog. In addition to fitting your A3 TDI with 19 inch titanium colored alloys, the Titanium Sport Package also adds summer tires, sport suspension, leather and alcantara sport seats and gorgeous piano black trim to give the dashboard a hint of dark menace. Just because you are saving the planet by purchasing a diesel doesn’t mean you have to look like a dork to do it.
Especially in light of recent events that have called the safety of the Toyota Prius into question, it makes perfect sense for people to begin looking at other fuel efficient automotive options. Since so many of the Prius models you see on the road are of the fully loaded leather-clad variety, could now be the perfect time for a vehicle like the Audi A3 to succeed? If the number of upwardly mobile small families in Priuses is anything to go by it seems that the Audi A3 TDI might just be a perfect option for those who want to get rid of their Toyota.
