While the 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupe does offer some pretty cool features, both standard and as options, there's nothing here to make the car stand out, and the lack of Bluetooth or a navigation system is a sore point.
The standard features on the 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupe vary slightly between the GT and GXP trims, but both come decently well equipped. J.D. Power notes that, for audiophiles, the G6 Pontiac offers "a Monsoon high-performance 8-speaker sound system with high-mounted tweeters and sub-woofer" standard on both trims, and this setup receives praise in reviews read by TheCarConnection.com.
For 2008, Pontiac also offers "remote keyless entry, cruise control," and "OnStar with Turn-by-Turn navigation," along with a "leather-wrapped steering wheel" on both trims of the G6 Pontiac, according to Kelley Blue Book. They add that standard features appearing on the 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP, but not the GT, are "18-inch alloy wheels" on the outside and "automatic climate control, heated seats and a six-way power driver's seat" on the inside.
When it comes to optional features on the 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupe, Car and Driver finds that "most of the extra goodies are wrapped in packages." For the GT version of the G6 Pontiac, Car and Driver says there is "an available Premium package" that adds most of the interior features of this 2008 Pontiac in GXP trim, such as "leather seating, a six-way power driver's seat, power-adjustable pedals, heated front seats, and a remote starter." Kelley Blue Book lists the shared optional features between the two trims as "a power sunroof, six-disc CD/MP3 changer, power-adjustable pedals and remote engine start."
Conclusion
The 2008 Pontiac G6 Coupe has the usual standard and optional features, but there’s not much to woo the cutting-edge crowd.
