2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor Page 1

(2004 model shown)

Mitsubishi released a freshening of its midsize "crossover" sport-utility vehicle as a late '04/early '05 model. The Endeavor's standard 3.8-liter V-6 engine gains 10 horsepower and is now up to 225; its 255 lb-ft of torque now peak at lower rpm than before, for better low-end punch. A four-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift abilities remains standard, and both front- and all-wheel-drive models are available in three trim levels. A tire-pressure monitor and daytime running lamps are newly standard. The available anti-lock braking system is improved, now available with electronic brakeforce distribution and traction control on the base 2WD model and standard on other front-drive versions. Mitsubishi's Active Traction and Skid Control is optional on the AWD Limited model. A DVD entertainment system for back-seat riders is also offered.
