The front-drive Reno compact hatchback sedan is based on the Forenza and is also manufactured in South Korea. For 2006, it offers a new wheel design and slightly revised interior highlights, plus a lower base-sticker price than before. The vehicle's muscular-looking exterior styling is sourced from the famed Ital Design studio, and its interior is larger than much of the competition's. The Forenza's 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine offers 127-horsepower, and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. An available four-speed automatic transmission includes an adaptive control system. Four-wheel disc brakes and speed-sensitive power steering are standard, with MacPherson struts up front and a dual-link suspension in the rear. The Renocomes well equipped, offering front side airbags, an eight-speaker CD/cassette audio system, heated power mirrors, a rear defroster, power locks, and alloy wheels. The Convenience version adds antilock brakes, cruise control, power sunroof, and keyless entry. The top Premium model gets fog lamps, leather upholstery, and a rear spoiler. No factory options are available.

How does the
TCC Rating work?
The TCC Rating is a clear numeric rating value based on a 10-point scale that reflects the overall opinion of our automotive experts on any vehicle and rolls up ratings we give each vehicle across sub-categories you care about like performance, safety, styling and more.

Our rating also has simple color-coded “Stop” (red), “Caution” (orange),
or “Go” (green) messages along with the numerical score so you can easily understand where we stand at a glance.

Our automotive experts then also collect and show you what other websites say about these different aspects of any vehicle. We do this leg work for you to simplify your research process.
