The all-wheel-drive Gallardo supercar comes in both convertible Spyder and hardtop coupe forms. Both versions are powered by a 5.0-liter V-10 engine rated at 520 horsepower. Buyers may choose either a conventional six-speed manual transmission or “e-gear” sequential-shift transmission with steering wheel-mounted F1-style paddle shifters. The Gallardo is capable of reaching 60 mph in about four seconds and has a top speed just under 200 mph. A Winter Package is available and includes heated outside rearview mirrors, headlight washers, and winter tires. Brembo brakes with eight-piston calipers and anti-lock control. Traction and stability control and curtain airbags are standard equipment.
