On an XC90 the whole tail light assembly comes out. You need a 10 millimeter socket, a ratchet, and a 6 inch extension. You remove a plastic access panel to get to 3 10 millimeter bolts. I have just bought a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6. Anyone had any problems with one?
My partner has just found all this information on the model we have bought saying the transmissions on them just fail for no reason and you are looking at around $9000aus to get a new transmission put in. All the problems seem to be with the models in America we havent found any in Australia yet. Does anyone own one and have had problems with it?...

T6 models of that year has a GM transmission that is prone to fail prematurely. I wouldn't buy one without an extended warranty.

The fuel pump is mounted inside the fuel tank. You pump is on the passenger side under your second row seats (well little further back and almost by 3rd row if you have it). The car has a fuel pump on passenger side. It also has a sending/level unit on the driver side. You can't replace the pump...
