3rd row seat available for 2008-9 Volvo V70 wagons?
I believe small 3rd-row seats were available (either from dealers or in the after market) for previous versions of the Volvo V70 and XC70 wagons; does anyone know if these seats are available for the newest versions of these wagons?

Volvo has ruled them to be unsafe for today's driving conditions so they are no longer offering them on the newer models. If you are going new, you should opt for a XC90 with a third row. With the incentives they have going on them right now, you can get them for about the same price and their gas...

I have a 2008 Volvo V70? Does anyone know how often do I need to change my brake pad? I only have 18,000 mil?

Volvo brake pads are typically very soft, so about 30,000 miles would be normal. Depending upon how much they are used, it could be sooner.

Should we trade our 1997 V70 Volvo wagon for the 2008 V70 Volvo wagon.?
Our Volvo has 105,000 miles, runs well and is almost a member of the family. We are currently debating keeping it or perhaps replacing it with the new 2008 V70 Volvo wagon. Does anyone have any thoughts on how they compare. Would we find that the 2008 was as well made, safe and comfortable as our 97. And are all Volvo wagon still made in Sweden?...

The newer one is heavier, about the same performance and fuel economy, still built in Sweden, slightly improved passive safety, similar active safety. Why trade? need a change, have excess money lying around Your '97 will cost less to run another 100K miles than a new one will cost you to run 100K...

Volvo V70 D5 stalling?
My 2006 Volvo V70 D5 frequently stalls, especially when turning left, at medium revs. This is accompanied by a clicking sound in the drivers footwell (like a relay switching). Been to the dealer 3 times and still not fixed. Any ideas? I've tried v70forum, volvoforum, brickboard, swedespeed and google.

not sure myself but when i have problems i ask people on a dedicated forum, search google and see if anything comes up for Volvos.
