Is the V50 worth the money? How about the XC90? How do they compare with BMW 325xi or X3/X5?
Would you rather buy the Volvo V50 or BMW 325xi? How about the Volvo XC90 compare to BMW X3/X5? Please be specific, especially safety, performance, design, etc. Thanks for input.

Probably not, when you can afford an XC90 instead. BMW is ultimately more appealing and graceful, where as Volvo have a lowered resell value since Ford took over ... Reference:Import Driver.

Can I put aftermarket Xenon bulbs in my 05 Volvo V50?
I heard that they get a lot more hot than standard bulbs and could damage the lamp housing assembly? Volvo sells the Xenon upgrade but does it include a new housing assembly. I may put in the High K temp white lights instead for the HID look. Any advice?

Stay away from the cheap aftermarket kits on EBAY, I bought a set fro my BMW 530 and they lasted about six months!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would stay away from the fake HID bulbs, they get very hot and can damage the wiring harness near the bulb and the lens assembly, plus they are not cheap and really dont...
