2007 Volvo S80 Bluetooth ready?
I'm buying (IN CANADA) a 2007 volvo s80 V8. I notice in interior pictures that there is a dialing pad and a "start call/end call/phone) button on the center console. I cannot find in the specs that it is bluetooth ready. Without buying the accessory, is it bluetooth-ready just like its competitors (m45, 5-series, etc.) Thanks, as always 10 pts.!!

I'm not sure if the new S80 is, but I know all of the other cars in Volvo's lineup use a motorola unit that you purchase and they install-- so it's not OEM and from what I hear, it works pretty well, but still not installed in the car when you buy it, it's aftermarket.

Where can I buy a DDM (Drivers door Module) for 02 Volvo S80 T6? The dealers ask me lots of money and I was trying to search it online but I couldn't find one. Is there any other name for it?

One other suggestion ; If all else checks OK then your immobilizer may be your problem. A common problem is the key antenna. It is located around the lock cylinder under the the plastic covers. Easy to change, need dealer scanner to check. If alarm dose not read chip in key, car will not crank...

The 2010 Volvo S80, at the base level with front-wheel drive and a large, comfortable interior, competes with a wide range of luxury sedans.
The Mercedes E-Class and the BMW 5-Series both offer V-8 versions and all-wheel drive, as well as extensive safety features, while the new Acura RL is a good competitor, and perhaps the closest to the S80.
But oddly, the RL feels sportier than base-model S80.
For those who wish to be a little more flamboyant, the V-8-powered Jaguar XF is worth a serious look; the Jag’s interior is warm and smooth, while the Volvo is a bit cold and stark in its interior design especially.
We’re not saying either is better for design—it’s really a matter of personal taste.
