do you HAVE-TO replace the cc???i never had to change any cc in any of my volvo's and i drive 96 and back,,,oop's i had to change the one on my 89 740 turbo manual (only cause the previous owner shifted kinda hard) in 03,,, so to change a cc in just 6 yrs. really dont add-up----Ohhhhh...

Can you tell me if it is difficult to replace a drivers side mirror assembly on a 2002 Volvo S80?
The one I need to replace is the drivers side (30634939) memory, w/illumination, heated and no electric folding mirror. Have you done this and if so can you give me a description of the procedure, please? The dealer wants $581.00 to do this...is that what it should cost? They say they need to replace the whole thing because an ear on the motor was...
