For a 98 volvo s70 T5, what does it cost to change a turbo intercooler?
there is a leak in ours and the mechanic said the part alone would be 1500 and 1500 for labor, but we found the part for $400 online and I was just wondering if we were quoted a fair price for the labor. thank you so much for any input you can give. want the answers of a mechanic or someone with personal experience. thanks

Dear, find another shop. And find it fast! The intercooler is around $400. But the job should only be a couple of hours, not twenty! The intercooler is like a radiator, except it handles air, not coolant. It is not a magical part, and it's only $400 because that's what the manufacturer...

does this model come with standard w/ side & side curtain airbags? front/back? I cant seem to find this info.

The CD player in my volvo S70 only plays some burnt cd's, help please!?
I have a 1998 Volvo S70 with a SC-816 cd/radio. The CD player only plays some burnt CDs (CDs that others have made me). When I try to burn a CD on my own it does not play in my car. Are there any special settings that I should use when burning it? Is there a specific brand I should use? Anything will help!

This is a common problem. Some CD players will only play quality burned discs. Verbetim, Maxell and other quality discs should be find. Its a trial and error thing since every CD player seems to act different. As long as you use quality CDs you should be fine. Burning speed can play a part as well...

Need a Volvo S70 Body Kit?
So i am a proud owner of a 98 Volvo S70 GLT, i love this thing ! But now i have an itch to mess with my car, i have a ECU and a short ram intake system and some sweet headlights on the way, but i really want to change the exterior a little bit just to make it stand out a little, anyone know where i can find a body kit for a s70?

NO DONT DO it!! i love my s70 to ddeathh and would not mess with it like that, go get some HID bulbs, tint your windows DARK DARK and get some rims
