How much should it cost to get 2 front axels replaced on a 2000 volvo s40?
I was getting some service done today at the dealer (I had a coupon for a $20 oil change) and they told me I have 2 bad axels in the front that are making the car shake quite a bit. With parts and labor, they estimated the total at $1470. The guy mentioned that it would probably be a lot cheaper to get it done somewhere else. Anyone have any...

How do I install a boost gauge on a 2000 Volvo S40?
Hi i been trying to figure this out, my question is rather where do I tap into the intake- turbo-side to get a correct reading? do I just drill a hole into the intake tube going from the turbo into the intake manifold? I know the electrical wiring stuff. Also...where exactly do I install a MBC so I could control the boost?? Thanks!

mbc dont do it under the dash there should be a white pipe just tee into that for the boost gauge

How do you reset the check engine light in a 2000 volvo s40?
There is nothing wrong with the engine. It has been to the dealer many times and they have tryed to replace sensors and reinstall software but it doesnt help. I just want to know how to reset the check engine light. Thanks that's been done...

you have to use a scanner on it to reset it,disconnecting the battery cable wont work on the newer ones on anything made after 1996 you have to use a scan tool to do this with,and if there's a problem with something on the car the check engine light may come right back on,but get the code from it...
