Where does the power steering fluid go in a 2004 Touareg ?
I looked under the hood, and in the owner's manual, and I can't seem to find where to add fluid. The steering is noisy when it's cold outside, and usually subsides after warming up, but I want to check the fluid level, just in case it's low

if you are looking at the engine compartment it is on your right hand side. It has a green top on it. you open it and in the inside it has a measuring gauge make sure you use VW fluid touaregs are so picky some touareg leak from the power steering hoses. Reference:Volkswagen Tech

VW tire replacement affects tire sensor?
Hi, I've just had VW dealership replace 4 tires on a 2004 Touareg. They forwarned me that because of VW design, they might have to replace sensors after changing tires because they sometimes break while taking tires off rims. They also noticed valve stems were uncapped and corroded, which they surmise probably led to further corrosion in all 4...

Toureg's are pain in the asses. The wheel sensors are made so poorly that if you sneeze on them they break, It doesn't matter who is replacing your tires, the sensors break, Valve stem caps would have no effect on the sensor as the caps are outside the tire, and the sensors are inside the tires...
